Dominoes at 1xGames: laying tiles by matching pips
Every tile you lay in Dominoes must match its neighbour: the two halves that touch need the same number of pips. A half with five pips, for instance, accepts only another five-pip half. In Morocco, you reach this domino game through the 1xGames section of 1xBet.
Play starts once you press "Place a bet", and the amount of that stake is decided before the game gets under way.
Who makes the first move
Situation after the deal | First move |
|---|---|
One of you holds the double-six (6-6) | that player moves first |
Nobody has the 6-6, but someone holds a double | the holder of the highest double |
Neither player has any double | the game opens with the tile that has the most pips |
When no tile in your hand fits, you draw from the stock, one tile after another, until the pips you need show up or nothing is left to draw.
Tiles, hands and the stock
The full set has 28 tiles. Each tile is split into two halves with black pips, up to six on a half. The deal gives seven tiles to each player, and whatever remains becomes the stock. Your tiles sit in a row along one edge of the playing area, as do your opponent's, and tips highlight the positions and tiles available for your next move. Playing Dominoes on two or more tables at once is not allowed.
Blocked games and the x2 payout
A game can also stop while both hands still hold tiles: when neither player has a tile that fits, it is blocked, and the player with fewer points takes the win. Whatever the finish, a won game pays out at odds of x2, returning twice the stake.
Line betting and casino games
Upcoming matches can be bet on in the pre-match line, while casino games sit in a separate section.
Moroccan accounts are held in dirhams (MAD). To open one, go to the sign-up form; Cash Plus is among the deposit options.

How pips, empty hands and the stock work in Dominoes
Does every half of a tile carry pips?
No. A half can be completely blank; when it is not, it shows between one and six pips.
What happens when a player runs out of tiles?
The game stops the moment someone places their last tile on the table. The win then goes to the player with no tiles left or with the lowest number of points.
How many tiles could you ever draw from the stock?
Fourteen at most: that is the entire stock left after the deal, 28 tiles minus seven for each player.
