Andar Bahar: rules and payouts

In round one of Andar Bahar, bets go on seven round buttons: the four suits across the top, the value groups 2-7, 8 and 9-A underneath. All seven concern one card, the first one drawn, called the Joker card (the Joker for short). Two rounds make up this card game, which uses a standard 52-card deck; on 1xBet's Moroccan site it sits in the 1xGames range, with your balance kept in MAD.

Get the Joker's suit, its value or both right and the bet wins. Round one is optional, though: with no bet on suit or value, a press on DEAL takes the game straight to round two.

Round two: Andar, Bahar and +20

The main bet now goes on the side you think will win, and it has to be placed before the deal. A +20 bet can be added on top; it pays when at least 20 cards have gone out before the round finishes.

• The dealer places the Joker in the centre of the table.

• After that, the dealer lays cards singly on the two sides, Andar first.

• Dealing ends with the first card that shares the Joker's value; its suit is irrelevant.

• A bet on the side that receives this card wins, while a bet on the other side loses.

Buttons on screen

Placing a bet is followed by a press on DEAL, found at the bottom centre of the screen. Just right of DEAL is CLEAR, which wipes bets on suit and value in round one and on Andar, Bahar or +20 in round two. After a round-one win, TAKE WIN cashes it in and round two is not played; carrying on into round two is the other option.

Payouts for each bet

Staked on +20, 3 comes back as 12 when that bet wins; staked on Bahar, the same 3 returns 6.3 if Bahar takes the round.
