MLS — Live
Major League Soccer is the top professional tier in the United States and Canada, run by the league itself. The 2026 season gathers 30 clubs in two fifteen-team conferences, Eastern and Western. The regular season runs from 21 February to 7 November, the playoffs follow, and the champion lifts the MLS Cup on 18 December 2026. There is no promotion and no relegation — the whole year points at playoff places and the title.
What this page shows on an MLS matchday
Fixtures in progress appear with the score, the minute and odds repriced phase by phase; each card lists the markets still open at that moment. One trait sets this league apart: it spans several North American time zones, so there is no single kick-off hour. A matchday does not start in one wave — games light up one after another, and the page stays busy across a long stretch. Everything else being played right now sits under live football, all competitions together.
Reading the line while the game runs
In play, the prices answer to the scoreboard, the clock and the major incidents. An opening goal shifts the match-winner market at once and resets the totals; the same one-goal lead is priced differently at the 25th minute and at the 80th, because remaining time is part of the calculation. A red card moves the line almost as hard as a goal, and the earlier it comes, the larger the correction. After any of these, the markets pause for a few seconds while the model recalculates, then reopen at adjusted values — a stake sent during the pause is simply not accepted.
The 2026 season in numbers
The MLS format reads best as a table, and these are the fixed points behind every fixture shown here.
Reference | 2026 value |
|---|---|
Clubs | 30, in Eastern and Western Conferences of 15 |
Regular-season games per club | 34: 28 inside the conference, 6 across |
Regular season | 21 February – 7 November 2026 |
Playoff qualifiers | 9 per conference |
Wild Card | 8th vs 9th in each conference |
First playoff round | best-of-three series |
Later rounds | single matches |
MLS Cup | 18 December 2026 |
The 28 + 6 split means a club spends most of the year against its own conference — and that is where the playoff hierarchy is decided. The final round of the regular season, Decision Day, falls on Saturday 7 November, when the last qualifying places are settled.
Playoffs that change shape
The first round is a best-of-three: two wins go through, and losing the opener still leaves a way back. From then on it is single matches, where a mistake has no second chance. For in-play reading the difference is tangible — a series carries a tomorrow, a one-off does not, and the live prices carry that difference in pressure.
The record books
LA Galaxy lead the history of the competition with six MLS Cups, ahead of D.C. United on four and Columbus Crew on three. Behind them, several clubs hold two titles each, so there is no single fourth name in the list.
What open sources do not settle
The exact allocation of MLS places in the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup has not been re-verified for this page, so it is not detailed here. Kick-off hours vary too much across clubs and time zones to be summarised into one typical slot — the schedule shown on each fixture is the reference.
The same fixture before kick-off
Every game also lives on the pre-match side, in the football line: prices locked at confirmation, markets set before the start. Live takes over at kick-off. Opening an account unlocks both windows, on MLS and on the rest of the day's card.
