World Championship. 2026. Freestyle Wrestling. Women. 72 kg: wrestling bouts and pre-match prices
World Championship. 2026. Freestyle Wrestling. Women. 72 kg sits in the wrestling section of the pre-match line. In this sport a competition page takes one of two shapes: a weight class of a major championship, limited to a single style, or the card of a professional league that stages several bouts on one evening.
What the World Championship. 2026. Freestyle Wrestling. Women. 72 kg page shows
Each row of the list is one event. For a bout, the row gives the date and start time, the two wrestlers stacked one above the other, and two prices: 1 for the upper name, 2 for the lower one. A championship weight class can also carry just a single event, covering the winner of the whole class.
Event | The question | How your pick wins |
|---|---|---|
Bout between two named wrestlers | which of the two takes this bout | your wrestler wins the bout, by any method |
Weight class winner | who comes out on top of the World Championship. 2026. Freestyle Wrestling. Women. 72 kg bracket | your wrestler also wins the final |
The two bets run over very different spans. A bout bet is settled by one contest. A winner bet lasts the whole competition, so a wrestler who wins every round up to the final and then loses it still turns the pick into a loser.
Withdrawals before and during the event
When a competition runs over several rounds, a wrestler may leave the bracket before his next appearance on the mat. The site rules separate two cases:
a withdrawal before the event starts voids every bet on that wrestler;
if he drops out mid-competition, injured or retired, bets struck before the start of the last round he took part in stand, and later ones are voided.
For a class winner bet, the second rule matters. A stake placed before a semi-final stays live if the wrestler pulls out during that round, and it loses, because he does not win the class.
