Politics. New Zealand: the Polybet questions in this group and how they work

Politics. New Zealand is one of the themed groups in Polybet, the part of the 1xBet line that turns news, finance, film or politics into questions you can bet on. Every question in the group is an event of its own, with a date, a time and a separate page, and it is only settled once the answer is known.

How the group list reads

Questions are listed in chronological order. Each row starts with a date and time in the "28/10 23:00" format, then comes the question title, and the "All events" button under it leads to the question page. Titles keep the wording used in the line, which is usually English.

Question shapes and the answers they produce

A title already tells you how its answers will be laid out:

  • "When will …" questions list one row per deadline, such as "by October 31, 2026".

  • "What price will … hit" questions list price levels marked with an ↑ or ↓ arrow.

  • "… Winner" questions list the nominees one by one under a "Winner" block.

  • A pending decision by an institution lists the possible results, for example "No Change" or "25 bps increase".

  • A dated statement gets a single Yes and No pair on the statement itself.

Whatever the shape, each answer is played as Yes or as No. One question can therefore show two rows or more than twenty, depending on how many deadlines, levels or nominees it covers.

Indicative times and postponements

The date and time next to a Politics. New Zealand question are indicative. Bets are settled on when the event actually happens, as recorded in the organiser's official documents, and a pre-match event pushed back by more than 48 hours normally sees its bets voided.

Events that are not sport

Details shown in the line, the group name included, are only indicative; to follow the event itself, be it an announcement, a vote or a published figure, the rules point players to independent sources. When a dispute of a kind never seen before comes up, 1xBet makes the final call.

The other groups of the section are gathered on the Polybet page of the line. Placing a bet in dirhams starts with a 1xBet account.

Politics. New Zealand: questions

Can a mistake in the group name get my stake refunded?

No. The site rules treat a tournament or group title as a navigation aid, and a mistake in that title is never grounds for returning the stake.

What if I bet on a question whose answer I already know?

Such a bet is cancelled. The bookmaker decides only after a private investigation, and any activity linked to the bet is suspended in the meantime.

In a politics group, what happens if a candidate pulls out?

In "Winner" markets, bets on a candidate lose if that person leaves the race before the vote closes or is barred from standing.
