Winner: Dota 2 Preview, Betting Markets and How to Bet Before Start
This is the pre-match page for Winner, a Dota 2 fixture in Dota 2. BLAST Slam. Winner on 20.11.2026, with the start set for 09:00. It is meant for players in Morocco who want a clear read on how the series will be decided, which markets to look at and how to place a stake before the opening map.
Fixtures that have not begun are grouped under upcoming Dota 2 matches; once a series gets under way, it carries the Live label instead. Pre-match fixtures across every competitive title sit in the complete esports pre-match schedule.
How a Dota 2 series is won
Dota 2 is published by Valve and played five against five. Ahead of every game, each side alternately picks and bans heroes from a shared pool; the game itself ends when one team destroys the other's Ancient, the core building of its base. Each game is called a map, and maps add up to a series.
In a Bo3 the first team to win two maps takes the match, while a Bo5 needs three. The big events of autumn 2026 ran their brackets on Bo3 series and kept Bo5 for the grand final. The organiser of Dota 2. BLAST Slam. Winner sets the format for each stage, so confirm it before choosing any market tied to the score. Other events in the same game are listed among all Dota 2 tournaments.
Pre-match markets and how they are settled
The lines on offer change from one fixture to the next, and no market is promised for every match. The table pairs the families seen in Dota 2 with the settlement detail written into the site's esports rules.
Market | What you are backing | Settlement detail |
|---|---|---|
Match winner | Who wins the series overall | A team that drops out is deemed to lose every remaining map |
Map winner | One named map, regardless of the series result | The map is awarded when either team's throne falls |
Map handicap, total maps, correct score | A margin in maps (for example -1.5), the number of maps played, or an exact score such as 2-1 | In a Bo3 only two or three maps can be played |
First blood | Which side draws first blood on the map | Kills credited to a tower or to neutral creeps are disregarded |
Kill streaks | Whether a Triple Kill, Ultra Kill or Rampage happens | "Yes" wins once the streak is recorded, whatever else happens in the match |
Map duration | A map ending over or under a set time | Every second played counts; a finish right on the mark gets odds of 1 |
Map ends in daytime | The in-game phase when the map finishes | Minute zero opens the first day, then day and night alternate at a fixed interval; daylight or darkness from any other mechanic is left out |
First tower and first Roshan follow the same logic as first blood: each names the team that completes the objective first on the stated map. Total kills on a map, for both sides or for one team, completes the list when offered.
Reading Winner before the opening map
A pre-match bet is made without the draft, which is where each side reveals its plan. Picks and bans take place at the start of every map, so hero choices stay unknown until play begins. Only the draft shows which heroes each team brings on the day. What can be weighed in advance:
the series format, since a Bo3 and a Bo5 lead to different score and handicap markets;
recent dated results of both teams, in Dota 2. BLAST Slam. Winner and elsewhere;
the stage of the event, from group play to a bracket or a final, depending on how it is built.
When the schedule or line-up changes
Esports rules on the site cover a stake placed ahead of time. Push the start back by more than twenty-four hours and the company may choose to settle stakes at odds of 1. Should the administrator stop the game and order it replayed, whatever happened before the stoppage is ignored. A roster swap in either team, even one made mid-match, leaves bets untouched.
