Odds of 1 simply hand the stake back, with no profit and no loss. A line whose result was fixed before the interruption, such as a first tower knocked down earlier in the map, is settled on that result as usual.
Lines that close before the map does
Not every in-play bet waits for the throne. First blood is decided by the opening kill that counts, first tower by the first building to fall, first Roshan by the first team to slay him. Kill-streak markets on Triple Kill, Ultra Kill, Rampage and similar runs turn on a single question, whether the streak is recorded. If it is, “Yes” wins and “No” loses, whatever else happens on the map.
Kill-count lines follow a different logic. A bet on the tenth, twentieth or thirtieth kill is won by whichever team scores that particular kill, even if it trails on the scoreboard. Total kills, map duration and the map winner stay open until the Ancient goes down. A bet on the whole series covers every map of Freedom Fighters - Moonlight Wispers, including any map finished before the stake was placed, so a 1-0 already on the board is part of the final score.

Looking ahead, BLAST Slam IX is played online from 20 to 29 November 2026, with sixteen teams spread over four groups of four.
